I'm chatting to my Mate about Narby tonight. so will get a list together. I am by no means responsible for the days events though He will give us a few ideas.

I'm actually touch and go at the moment with my zook. The alternator bearings seem to have crapped out the car sounds like it's got a supercharger whine on it at the moment. So I'm pulling it out and replacing the bearings. Being a jap import i'm not sure about compatiblity of alternators with other 4A varient motors. Might grab a spare from the wreckers if i can find one.

So I've chatted to my mate in Narby last night. He's given me some track names and told me about some other stuff that isn't marked on any maps including an "undrivable" super steep scary hill climb.

He's going to meet up with us on Monday morning and point us in the right direction cos he's a great guy! Apparently he thinks maybe years ago the suzuki club had wheeled in this area and has apparently seen some pics of zooks on this track but not while i've been with the club i reckon.

Anyway from what he's saying there should be something to keep us entertained there for a while.

I pulled my alternator apart this morning and both bearings were buggered so I've sent it into the auto elec to get some new bearings and a new regulator as well. Hopefully get it back tomorrrow and back into the car tomorrow or friday night, along with flares, new fuse panel and a tyre kick and should be good to go

Please note that we will be endevouring to align our club trips with the Adventure Activities Standards as prescribed by FWDVic.

Here are the two big changes that will affect Adventure Tour:

1. Forms:
We will all be written up on our Trip Attendees form. We have done this in the past so it's not a big deal. The only difference is that we will need visitors to fill out a visitor form. This includes Passengers.

2. Fees:
Everyone driving on Tour is a paid member already, but we are now going to require Passengers to pay fees as well. If you are bringing a passenger, they will have to pay a once-off (per financial year) fee of $10. This will cover that passenger as a driver or passenger on any other trips for the year. This will include spouses and any dependants under 18.

I agree that all of this is a pain in the bum, but it is important that we keep in line with these FWDVic requirements to ensure we are covered.

Note:
Next year we will update our club membership forms to include spouses and dependants so this $10 fee will not be payable.

I will provide forms and pens at the starting points of each day. Please bring the appropriate funds for your passenger count.

Don't forget your minimum trip requirements of 2 x rated shackles and 1 x snatch strap along with your fire extinguisher and first aid kit.

Try to turn up with petrol in your tanks too
