My mate has friends out from scotland and ran a last minute trip up to labertouche on the weekend. Was a fairly easy trip as most tracks have now been graded, they may have been done a while ago buts its been a bit since ive been out there. Bullock Link and the top half of Robertsons were the only tracks we did that hadnt been graded. We did most of the tracks in the andersons and robertsons parts of bunyip. My new minispool and sliders worked well.

I have a couple of things to fix/fine tune before AT but should be no problem. I'm planning on doing day 1, for one day without a front locker how important are spare stock CV's? Im starting to cut it a bit fine to track down spares if needed.

If we go over 10 people on this trip we need to delicate a second trip leader, this is an insurance requirement.
Also I have no record of Michael being a financial club member so can someone forward me his contact details, my number is 0449 256 860, thanks

We can zip down and do the robertsons and bullock link tracks. I'm pretty pressed for time so I don't think I'll be able to get up to Narby before the tour to have a look around. However i can ask BJ and he might be able to point us in the right direction. Again Narby is not much fun unless it's wet.

Skip to about 5 mins for some narby hill climbs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0SXxwisnJQ

This is fishers creek in Narby http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8DmA6kp-RQ

Joes SPur - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qeym2o9fDYQ

There are a few other vids in his channel for more info.

I did notice some interesting tracks directly opposite the junction of phasmid and tarago rd on the south side in the logged area when i was across the other side of the valley there was a whole hill criss crossed with tracks going straight up the hill. They looked like they were worth a look.

Unless we get some serious rain on the weekend of the tour i don't think it's worth going up Phasmid ridge, if it rains we have to hit it up...that was some hair-raising hill climbs a few years back!

I think walkers could probably be on the cards again.

Is Narbethong just a series of big ass bog holes?

There's a couple of tracks that guys from here at work have been hitting up fairly often. But only mention of big bog holes.

There's some pretty gnarly hills in Narby, but it eould be nice to have some inside knowledge - it seems to be the sort of place that has a few unmarked interesting tracks.

I've spoken with Michael. He's going to fill out paper work and pay up on the day.
