I suspect rear diff/axles/locker area. KJicked down to first and an almighty bang came out.
Then limped back to town in 4wd with lotsa noises.
Will start diagnoses today.

Got home ok. Had a super weekend. Sadly, Chris had to go back with terminal noises coming from his rear.
Sure would have been an interesting exercise to tow a camper over those tracks.
Some of the best tracks I have been on.
