Hi Rob,

Sounds like your car is up to the job.

Don't forget your first aid kit, fire extinguisher, snatch strap and two rated shackles too.

What are your accommodation requirements?

I thought the main requirement for Adventure Tour was RACV Total Care.

I'd be keen to ride shotgun with someone for one of the days if there was a spare seat going.
I'm planning for my Sierra to do next years adventure tour.

isn't your car sitting on 31's Jono? I thought you had a rear locker already?

I've got a mini spool sitting on my desk waiting to go in this weekend, I won't have the money to lock the front properly before AT this year. Steve reccommended in an earlier posted that 33's and twin lockers were highly recommended for a Sierra for AT, I was planning on doing that for next year.

jono, the first day is in Labertouche which is pretty close to you and as long as it's not stupidly wet a rear locked Sierra on 31s should be OK, just might need a tow once or twice. Warburton's a bit harder but if it's dry and you made it through Labertouche, you should give day 2 a go.

Ok cool, put me down for day 1, I just didn't want to end up being the one that has to constantly be recovered.

Ill get my spool and sliders sorted on Saturday.

Hay Greg
I think Rob and I will be grabbing two beds in one of the cabins. Do you have prices for them?
Two nights (Sat Sun) as we will be driving up first thing Sat morning at this stage.

Hi Luke,

Here's what I posted back on page 7:
Greg wrote:The cabins are $60 for twin share (30 each), $90 for four (22.50 each). It's extra money if you want bedding supplied.

Due to the 3 day weekend, there is a 3 night minimum for the cabins.

i.e. bare min cost for the 2 cabins is $60 x 2 Cabins x 3 nights = 360 (assuming 4 people).

I know Steve is staying on Fri / Sat / Sun, but I'm not sure who else is planning to stay all 3 nights.

There will need to be some clever calculations to work out what dollers everyone is in for at the end of the weekend.

Cheers,
Greg

Put me down for one of the beds too! I'm in for the three days, and I'll be driving for as long as my car will allow me too! :D
