Just spoken with Bill and the plan is to meet at the Bales CFA station at 8am this Sunday. Please wear your Club t-shirts, caps, etc. and at the very least you will need to bring your own food and drink. Also make sure that you have some gloves. If you have chainsaws, shovels, rakes or other toolsthen bring them too. If you have friends that want to help oput then get them to join up at a discounted rate.

Bill has all the details but limited internet access at the moment so please ring him with any questions or offers to help on 0412 399 410.

Just performed a google search for Bales.. It is actually spelt BAYLES.

Here is how to get to the meeting place.

6. Continue on Princes Fwy
7. Take the exit toward Healesville Koo Wee Rup Rd
8. Turn right at Healesville Koo Wee Rup Rd
9. Turn left at Ballarto Rd
10. Slight right at Koo Wee Rup Longwarry Rd
Bayles VIC

From the decription from Bill. I think this is the correct place.

If anyone has a spare uhf radio could I please borrow it. I have a dodgy hand-held I will use if no one has one but it's not the best.

Matt

It's not often that I use the "P" word, but as your President I was very proud of the work that Suzuki Vic did today. Top marks to Bill and James for the motovation and the organisation and to all the members that I saw including but in no particular order: Paul & Deb, Ross, Joey, Mathew and his dad, Mock, Andrew and me. Many thanks and apologies to anyone I miss out, Lloyd

Sorry I had to leave early yesterday..

I hope the afternoon session was oragnised better than the morning stint.
It was a little frustrating driving around.

I would like to help next week but I have committed to Wandin..
I am sure there will be other days as this is definetly on going.

Just think, we have not even started Marysville or Kinglake yet.
It was a great to see so many people from the club and others helping out.

Not sure how other poeple feel, but I think the CFA was a little overwhelmed on how many people showed up to help etc.
