Hi Fellas.
Hi RubiconP.
You don't have to be a member to come on our trips. But non members have to pay a $15 fee for 4wdvic insurance. Also any non related passengers in the car will have to pay the fee.
Also trip requirements are basic recovery gear,a fire extinguisher and first aid kit.
There are better qualified people in the club to answer your question about tyres. But I think A/Ts on a new Jimny will be very good in most conditions.
New people are always welcome on our trips. Hope to see you there.

Hi Fellas.
Hi Damo. The tracks are not suitable for a caravan.
There are tight turns, off cambers and steep approach and departure angles.
And huge fallen trees are always a possibility.
Regards. Wayne.
Hahaha, best I leave it the van park then.

Hi, do I need to be a club member to join this trip? Picked up my 2022 Jimny last Friday? Will have A/T tyres by then. Anyone had trouble with BFG KO2 tyres in the wet?
Hi RubiconP and welcome.
We are running the BFGs on a JB 74 and the have been fine so far(2020 model)
Your car will be fine on this trip, and if there is anything your not comfortable with doing then we can find alternatives.

Hi Rubicon ,
You can easily take a stock Jimny with stock tyres through this track .
In fact I just did an hour ago in my new 2022 Jimny
I cleared a few more trees to assist bigger vehicles too.
It’s all pretty easy . Just a few steepish sections but nothing radical at all . There’s just enough to keep it interesting.
Cheers , Richplezo

Hi Fellas.
Hi Faith. You will be very welcome to come on this trip. We always have room for new people, there will be other Jimnys on this trip with experienced drivers. So you have come to the right place if you want to learn how to drive your Jimny off road.

Hi Fellas.
Here is a bit more info for those who have not been on one of our trips before.
Non members of the Suzuki Club have to pay a day member fee of $15. This goes to 4wdvic for 3rd party insurance. Any person in the car who is not related to the driver also has to pay. You can pay on the day.
Basic recovery gear is also required. Basic recovery gear is a rated snatch strap and 2 rated shackles. Also you should have a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit. (basic first aid kit is fine) Other really useful things are a tyre pressure gauge and a small 12volt compressor. (we will be lowering our tyre pressures at the start of the trip.) A UHF radio is very useful so the leader can keep in touch with the convoy. ( 1watt handheld is fine)
Lunch break will be in the bush, so bring food and drinks. (no alcohol on club trips.)
There looks like being a good mix of experienced and novice drivers, so there will be any amount of help and advice for newbies, if needed.

I am still looking good to come. Car still working. I most likely come straight from the boat, late Friday evening, and camp on the way somewhere. Cross my fingers, will be there on time, or not at all, so no waiting for me. Christo.
