Like Tony I don't want any damage so if there are 4 of us that is a good selection. Let us know if August 10 is OK with you then lock in some details.

Hi Fellas.
I was going into the Upper Loddon today prospecting. Thought I might detour thru Lancefield and spend the morning having a better look around Cobaw forest. This time I took lots of pics for Greg. 8-)
There doesn't seem to be any seasonal closures. Or not that I saw. Looks like lots of 4wds go there on the weekends. Lots of big tyre tracks.
Have to change my mind about running an easyish trip there. In my non expert opinion any trip would have to be rated medium.

Hi Tony. I can't see how a 200 landcruiser could get along the tracks I did this morning without some sort of panel damage. Or a near stock Vitara. :(
If a trip is run there, it would need one of the more experienced blokes to lead it.
I am still happy to go back there on August 10 , or any Sunday if anyone wants to have a look. I have been exploring alone, which is probably a bit silly.
Hope to get the photographic evidence up in a few days.
Regards, Wayne.

Well, I'm still keen for the 10th of Aug.

A few extra pin strips and/or giving the bar work a pounding only add to the old girls character.
Think I might have a map flying round so we can mark points of interest.

The pic you throw up might inspire some of the Xtremist to come along.

However, in saying that. We could still take it very easy and use this solely as a 'tag and move on' trip which would minimise damage.

Sme tracks look fine and others look to be beyond what I would tackle. If you are prepared to be selective i am willing to tag along on the 10th still. Up to you. Let me know if you stil plan to take another look around.

That's an impressive array of photos!

However, what impresses me even more is the fact you walked most (if not all) of those hills!!!!!

I'm OK for the 10th. Will make my "somewhere new" trip in September.

Hi Fellas.
Great, that's four cars. I think we are going to have some fun.
Should we make this an official trip? (The Cobaw Range have a look trip).
Like I said before, I don't want the responsibility of being trip leader in this country.
Regards, Wayne.
