Hi Fellas.
Only six more days to the big easy trip. There has been a lot of rain and even snow in the area last three days. I checked the tracks out again on the weekend. I reckon by next Sunday they should be just right.
My wife is coming with me so it will be wife and girlfriend friendly. We can have our lunch at Tipperary Springs picnic ground. It has a long drop toilet.
The plan was to cook some sausages for lunch. But I have seen how difficult it is to keep to a schedule on the other trips. I am thinking we might be having too much fun driving.
What do you blokes think? Prepared lunch or light a fire and cook our lunch.
So far its Christover, Chen and Steve 125. Anyone else interested?
Regards. Wayne.

Hi Wayne

Sorry I still can't come. I will be in the Pyrenees out of Avoca both days on the weekend. Will let the team know what we find there. Could be another useful day trip but we are camping overnight. Don't like the reports of snow much though Wayne. Think I would prefer a nice warm country pub. Have a great day.

Mike

Hi Fellas.
The snow is all gone. But last Saturday, Daylesford and Eganstown had a good dump. Being only 700 meters above sea level it melts quickly.
I reckon the hills around Landsborough would have also had snow last weekend.
Regards, Wayne.

Hi Fellas.
Poor excuse Richard! Is everyone clear on how to get to Sailors Falls? Once you are on the Ballan Daylesford Rd you can't miss it.
This area is famous for mineral springs. Bring an empty container if you would like to take some home.

See you all tomorrow, I'm being soft and bringing the GV.

Wayne, is the Sailors Falls picnic area on the western side of the Ballan rd, just north of Telegraph rd?

Hi Fellas.
There is a lavender farm and reception centre called Sault Estate on the left just before Sailors Falls. The picnic ground is on the corner of Telegraph Rd. There is a photo opportunity sign just before you get there. Turn left at Telegraph Rd and you are there. I should be there about 9.30. You will see my sierra.
Regards. Wayne.
