be keen to get in to some camp grounds or cheap cabin. (touring on a budget)

Gen and I are in for the ghost tour and maybe the mine. Also have another couple coming with us to do the ghost tour.

I've already booked my accom and ghost tour. Nothing short of major ilness will prevent me from making this, won't have to stress about whether I actualy have a seat or worry about real estate agents!

Sorry guys, it looks like this date clashes with a motorcycle club's event in walhalla.

It appears they have booked most accom in the area.

Richard and I are going to confirm later today.

We might have to reschedule for another date - I.e. not worthwhile going if everything is booked out.

Stay tuned for update later today.

Folks - Richard and I have just been discussing the trip dates on the phone.

Walhalla accom and rawson accom has been pretty much booked out by a motorcycle club. I'm pretty sure this is going to mean that everything else (pubs / restaurants / day spas etc) will all be booked up too.

We are proposing Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 May as a viable date swap (2 weeks later).

Please check your calendars and let us know if you are able to make these dates.

Plan is unchanged, just the date.

I have PM'd everyone that showed interest to ask for confirmation that the new date is acceptable.

Once confirmed, we will lock in the change and get with the accom booking action

Any takers for 19-20 May?

I'm in for 19 & 20th May. Would be good to get commitment from all intending to go, earlier rather than later, so we can get accomodation options sorted at Rawson/Walhalla & make bookings. Best options seem to be at Rawson - includes cabins to share or motel rooms. Erica only has camping/caravans. Walhalla is more up market accom. Its going to be too cold to camp out at that time of the year (for me)! Richard
