Worth a thought :)
But I think the vit one is a sierra one modified to fit into 3 pin,
carriers that are supposed to be all all vits.
And mine has 2 pins, I know people running sierra lockers in 2 pin fronts, so it is possible.
I pull it out this morning, have a look.
Won't be spending any more dosh, for sure.

I don't usually get up this early, must be a zook thing :))

Locker fitted perfectly into Vitara carrier.
Was unlocking on floor with lots of effort.
Hopefully driving will unlock it more easily.
Diffs back under car.
Can't test yet, need to fix up a cv boot and stuff, and fit the drive shaft tomorrow.
Will hate wondering all night if locker will work right this time, but I done for the day.

YAY TEAM
We are now locked up front.
No issues with using a Sierra auto locker into a Vitara.
As long as You have the 2 pin type, which every one seems to have.
And use Sierra 4 pin type side gears.
2 pin type MAY foul on locker
Same fitting technique, except you start at other end.
It took a while to free up, now it is much smoother.
Not as smooth as my rear Lock Rite, but it should bed in.
Thanks ALL for support, help, parts, and ideas along the way.

Yes I fully understand them dilemmas.
I may still not get there yet.
Working on getting a bit healthy first.
Have to keep it out of water, got a dodgy cv boot,
should have fixed it first, but was eager to get driving.
