I was hoping to be able to drop in at some time over the weekend, but house commitments have snookered me- yay! shopping for a wood heater and more lighting

Sorry about that.

I had hoped to do better than I did tonight, my multi v water pump pulley doesnt fit, looks like I will have to change the whole pump or get a barina one.. The pitman arm is very stuck on both ends, and steve(125)'s blow torch was out of juice, I will probably just press them appart tomorrow.

The plan is to get the grinder out at 9am on Saturday Chris(mika). So the earlier the better.
If anyone is just coming for lunch, it will be around lunch time.

Shame you can't stop by (gw)steve, but all cool. You don't need a coonara in summer though!

Anywhoo... So long as I'm not delayed too long at work in the morning I should be all prepped to do most of the work on the ruf on Saturday. Do the transfer case on Sunday, maybe the locker too the put the front back together on Monday once I sort out the power steering hoses.

The new badge on the grill is so bright and shiny I might have to dip it in grease and mud befor mounting it. ;)

Yes, to run a multi v pulley, you do need to use a barina/swift type water pump..
not sure if vit is same type.
I used a Barina water pump on Frog, far superior to single V belts.
Handy for using Falcon 110amp alternator, too.

Hey Neo, Give your pitman Arm a massive smack on the round bit that captures the steering box shaft spline. I bet 3-4 Big hits and it will drop off ;)
