Vitara Crossmember Protection

Can anyone in the Suzuki brains trust provide me with a functional method for protecting the cross member on a Vitara (94 SWB EFI Hardtop). I am told mine is one of the bad ones (hangs low and scoops up all sorts of problems) but it is not able to be changed for the stronger one due to the model. Any link to a supplier with some under body armour would be useful, or someone with a crossmember strengthening or protection method would be great. I would be happy to pay someone to provide me with a suitable fix if they are interested and able. Thanks
