Fuel efficiency for 98 octane - JB74

Hi, wondering if anyone has accurate info regarding whether the high octane fuel gives the Jimny more power and/or fuel efficiency? I used 98 fuel in Tasmania for my fully loaded JB74 and felt like I had a bit more power but it is impossible to be accurate without some tested figures.
