Mazda 121 Fuel Injection

Post by Ookie the zuke »

Hi have just purchased a conversion kit to convert the TBI from a Mazda 121 into a stock G13BA. I am planning on documenting the required process here for anyone else who may be interested. I decided to go this route for two reason.
1. I just happen to have access to a Mazda 121 that is destined for scrap to rob the parts off.
2. I have just rebuilt my g13ba motor and really don’t want to pull it apart to swap heads over or to start with a completely new unknown motor to achieve fuel injection.

I am super excited and will try to take photos and document this along the way
Cheers Callum

very keen to hear how it goes. I looked into this, however could not find a 121.

also would be interested to know the total costs and what extras things you have to do/make that are not in the kit or the 121.

I am too. The kit appears to be very comprehensive. So far the only extras have been an EGR block off (optional) an electric fuel pump and filter, and threaded nut to weld onto the exhaust for the o2 sensor.

Now I just have to find time to install the kit.

Should be able to do the whole conversion for under $1000
