back in nzl + unsold sierra
Got back to New Zealand last night so maybe I should probably change my nickname to joninhamilton.
Thanks for all the well wishes and help from everyone. ive got an appointment in a months time in Auckland with the lung transplant team there which is the realisation of the whole reason ive moved back.
I had a guy show interest in my Sierra the week before i left but he was reall on and off again, i took the car to him to see but he wanted me to drive it out to Bayswater to Allen Johnson and i just didn't have the time.
so the car is still up on FB and Gumtree.
My wife is on FB and im not so she is fielding the enquiries and will lower the price but would really appreciate the clubs help if someone could meet and talk technical if someone wants to i spect it in Pakenham.
also its not insured so i wouldn't want my wife to be giving keys to some less favorable chaps she felt intimidated by.
if you wouldnt mind me reaching out for help please reply in here or email jonathancmsmith@hotmail.com
it will probably only be one or two times because its got to go
thanks all

Did not know you had left Aus Jon. Good luck in NZ.

Damn bro, I didn’t realise things were so serious and you were going back to NZ.
I hope all goes as well as it can.
I’d love to buy your car but it’s out of my price range, plus Gen said if I buy another car she would prefer an auto so that she can also drive it.

Re: back in nzl + unsold sierra
Haha, that’s true but I have enough mechanical sympathy that I wouldn’t want to put the poor Sierra through that. Ok, so she’s actually reasonable at driving manual off-road but gets stressed in traffic.
I still regret not buying that XJ mika was selling years ago. I want to get a narrow body hilux for work, but prices are ridiculous of the ones I’ve seen.

I got your email Matt
haven't looked at toyotas here but XJs r cheap because petrol is $3
also we signed our real estate agent contract today and i will need to rehome my sierra for maybe a month if someone has some dirt to park it on (and maybe drive it) because Beth cant drive manual.
any one feel like putting their hand up?

Jon
I have space, that you could park it, if needed
could possibly even get it in the shed
