Keys and cheap radio upgrades for new Jimny Lite

Some more questions, this time around keys and radios.

* Are the keys for the new Jimny the same as those for the RS415 Swift. They look identical and ebay sellers say they are compatible but dont say which year of the Jimny.
* What's the sequence to enter programming more, or is it only done thru OB2 somehow.
* If I am able to link the remote to the car myself (as I have done for the Swift) whats a reasonable cost to program the transponder chip (which I havent been down to the locksmith to ask).

I have the Lite model with the crappy radio. I can live with it as I use my phone for all necessary functions, however my son will need to buy a standalone GPS ($150+) as probationary drivers in Vic cant use a phone (even mirrored) or tablet as a GPS. So I was thinking of upgrading the radio instead. There is a unit sold by a reputable local installer (PPA Car Audio) that looks identical to those selling on ebay really cheap. Does anyone have experience with fitting and using them?

Id even be interested in the radio that first came with the JB74, if I could get it cheap.

Doing a bit more searching and I believe the current Jimny uses ID47 transponder chips, where as the Swift RS415 uses ID46.

Transponder programmer is need to program the chips. ID46 programmers are ~$200, but ID47 are ~$400 as far as I can tell.
