This sounds good...
I have called Paul Mac and left a message.
Rather do a day of 4WDing than a day of gardening.

Spoke to Paul - he will SMS some directions to cj.
His camp spot is on Robertsons Creek track - shows up as Robertsons Creek Fireline on my GPS..... hope that's it or will end up very lost.....

OK - you do realise that you are asking advice from the worlds worst navigator....
Down Princess Hwy - past Packenham ( now bypassed ? ) and turn left onto Sand Rd. ( servo on corner ? )
Continue to tee junction - right onto Princes Way
Left onto Labertouche Rd
Left at fork ( follow Labertouce Rd )
Right at fork - Forest Rd
Right into Birrel Track
And SOMEWHERE around here there's a motorbike unloading area that Pauls camped not far beyond.
If you get to Robertson Crk Track( Fireline ) you have gone too far.....
IF you see a Feroza looking lost, its guess who !
P.S. all advice offered is worth exactly what you have payed for it - nothing......

Well I have found birrel track on Google maps.

or perhaps not ..... depends on the quality of my navigational advice.
Still that's what mobiles and Ch26 is for.

Well. A sensational day.
3 cars.
1. Paul (Vitara)
2. Andrew (Grand Vitara)
3. Ross (Feroza)
Birrel Track
Rocky Track
Robinsons creek track/fireline
Gentle Annie
Western Track
Gentle Annie was as greasy as ever... DSE had graded the first 500 metres... Very chewed up and extremely slippery.
Once we passed the graded part it was easier.
Western Track had lots of rocky ledges to negotiate but not to bad..
All in all it was a great day also it rained. O.H Yes... NO DUST.

A good day - but I think the Pajero Clubs track ratings were done from a desk somewhere.......
Gentle Annie + Drainage humps + Raining = Wheelspin and lots of it
