An interesting day for us which unfortunately started with Charlie having to head home with the Disco due to front diff issues. We found a 60 series that had been out all night due to a broken rear diff which we found early in the morning not long after Bill had commented on how quick we were progressing. He was going nowhere and his winch cable was no longer attached to his winch. We aired his A/T's down from 38psi to 18psi and pulled him into a better position then dragged him up the track with Bin Laden (yes, it lives!) while some of the others had a play. When we met back up we still had bogholes and hills and ruts to deal with so it was slow going but eventually we got to point where even multiple winches and snatch blocks were not helping . There was no point breaking the vehicles in our group trying to pull him out any further so it was left and the occupants taken back to their camp to sort out parts and vehicles to recover/repair as required. Bill had an axle seal let go so we called it a day and headed home. Good area though and more visits will be on the cards.
