Stratford to Walhalla via Mt Wellington and Howitt High Plains over 2 days. Easyish.

Weekend of Sat 14 May and Sunday 15 May 2016.
TRIP DESCRIPTION.
Day 1 - Meet at Stratford Park at 0900 hrs for briefing then 0930 hrs start. Fuel up.
Stratford to Briagalong then follow the Marathon Rd to Valencia Creek Tk then Pleydells Tk to Old Moroka Rd. Left onto Moroka Range Tk to Mt Wellington.
Back on the Mt Wellington Tk then left onto the Moroka Rd to Arbuckle Junction.
Right at Arbuckle Junction onto Howitt Rd to Guys Hut or Howitt Hut for overnight camp.
Day 2 - Exit camp about 0830 hrs onto Tamboritha Ra to Licola. Fuel up.
Follow the Heyfield Rd to Cheynes Bridge. Right turn & follow Cheynes Tk to Black Spur Tk then left to Bark Hut Tk crossover McEvoys Tk onto Fultons Tk then left onto Binns Tk to Walhalla. If time permits an alternative track to Walhalla may include Donellys Tk. An easy drive then from Walhalla to Moe via Rawson for petrol then home via Princes Hwy to Melbouurne.
The trip has a few steep ups and downs but suitable for Sierra's and Vitara's with AT tyres as a minimum.
PETROL. At Stratford, Licola, Rawson & Moe. It is advised to also carry extra petrol.
