Dates look good to me.

Just to get you enthusiastic about this one here are some photos from 2012.
Typical River crossing - there are about 6 of these depending upon the route we take

Billy Goat Bluff Track from the helicopter landing pad (about half way)

Hearne Spur (steeper than it looks)

The Valley

If I can make this trip, it will be without trailer.
It's being converted.
Will see how the money is next year before deciding.

I took a look at the proposed route for this trip tonight and here it is:

I estimate the total distance is around 200 km between fuel at Briagalong and Licola but allow for consumption of 15 litres per 100 km for the 1.3 litre engines. Climbing these steep hills in low range all day uses a lot of fuel. I will bring an extra 20 litres with me but an extra 10 litres just in case would be wise. Probably won't be needed but handy to have.
We will meet at Stratford in the usual spot in the main street by the Park at 9.00 am which will mean leaving Melbourne at about 6.00 am to 6.30 am. Refuel at Stratford.
Attendees so far are:
Mike - Jimny
Richard - Siera
Christover - Vitara (but I believe waiting for Chris to confirm)
Steve - Siera
Chen - GV
Wayne - Siera
Tony - Landcruiser (one of my 4WD mates who wants to come as a temporary member - older guy with hearing issues so should fit in well!)
I will check the weather the week before and confirm that its on as we get closer.
Please confirm if you are still interested. I think Steve was going to camp at Horseyard flat so we can pick him up on the way through.
Don't forget the trip forms but I will have some spares.
Thanks
Mike

Still planning to go on the Friday and camp at Horseyard (any other early starters welcome join me), probably meet you at the Pinnacles, I'm guessing you'd be there about 11am. I might be heading to East Gippsland afterwards so may leave you at Arbuckle Junction and head back down Marathon instead of Tamborintha.
