I have had a bit more of a look at the phpBB site and we need the administrator to download an add on. It is available here - https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=2092657

We can then download an app called ForumRunner onto an iPad to access the forum from it.

Cheers

I have the forum in my bookmarks bar and access it via safari. What's the advantage of a specific app?

Having just accessed this forum via Safari, I see what you mean. There must be some advantage otherwise phpBB wouldn't have had the need to develop this ad on.

Cheers.

Reading the details, it seems that the only real bonus is that its lighter on data use, I guess in that way it's like tapatalk. I have browsed a forum using tapatalk before, but I didn't really like it.
