Weather is looking OK, possible showers but no rain. Was hoping to get to Horseyard Flat via Valencia Creek Tk but we might have to take an easier option.

Temperature will be more of a problem, snow is forecast for Mt Buller on Wednesday and 5 degree max over the weekend. Mt Moornapa is closer to where we are going, but not as high up, and will have a 12 degree max on Sunday so bring some warm clothes.

Steve - How many chain saws will we have in the group. We need at least one. I have a saw but no transit case and no space to carry it. Do you have one?

Snow would be nice,
not that I like being cold,
but it is all ok if it snows.
I have a -10 sleeping bag, won't be cold in bed,
and never get cold driving,
and camp fire is nice n warm.
So not really a problem.

Except first thing in the morning

Good to see that Chen might come. It will be great experience for him and good to have another beginner on the trip.
When I went to the Wonnangatta valley with a few mates 2 months ago it was about 25 degrees in the evening and we had to sit about 5 metres away from the fire. Much better when it is colder I think. Just no rain.
