Hi folks, just double-checking that my stock ‘99 Jimny will be adequate for Trip B. It’s currently got 215 75 15 AT tyres but I’m planning on changing those to MT of the same / similar size before the trip. I’m pretty happy with its off-road capability, but my main concern would be river crossings as I don’t have diff-breather extensions installed, or anything like that to help with high water, should we encounter it. (Is that even something we should be prepared for with the high snow fall this year?)

Thanks!

Hi Willy.
AT's would be better for the snow. Pretty sure the trip leader will be avoiding a repeat of last year's trip out to Jamieson, thus no deep water crossings.

Got back home with no more issues. :D
thank you to the trip organisers and leaders.
A big thank you to everyone for their help with the track side repair. especially those that provided parts, and options for a quick fix to get my car operational again.
It was an excellent trip overall even though there wasn't as much snow this time.
I really enjoyed the whole trip 😀
