Sounds sensible Steve. If you have enough enthusiasm to try a third time let me know.

That might happen, but in June or July, if there is a dump of snow, would just be a drive to Licola then up to Horseyard Flat to camp, most of the sidetracks being closed.

Hi Steve , I’m still up for this trip if you change your mind .
A bit of rain might make the tracks nice n sticky . No dust too . It looks like the rain should clear by Saturday afternoon.

Cheers .

Ummm . . . Ahhhh . . .

Weather forecast has improved a little bit, a lot less rain and no snow, but still a chance of thunderstorms Saturday afternoon but mainly it's now the wind that would be problem, up to 60kmh might see a few trees down. Sunday is looking great.

Agh I see , it’s your trip Steve , so I will graciously accept your decision either way .
Im not too worried about the rain , the wind could be crappy as you said . Are there river crossings ? I guess rising rivers would be an issue if it’s belting down .

Maybe with all these wilder elements it would be best if we had at least 3 cars involved, not just you n me .
But yes - I’m still in if it evolves .
Just call me if there’s an update

From memory there is only one small creek crossing, everything else is bridged.

If there is a break in the weather during May I might run this, or something similar, as a (very) short notice trip.
