ok the confirmed day is Saturday the 2nd of June.

If I am happy with how my car goes on this day I may or may not jump onto the trip on Sunday, pending reccomendation from the Sunday trip leaders that an unlocked Sierra will cope with the terrain.

Be extremele careful when removing ball beartings and springs that you remember where they came from otherwise you will be like me, feeling bad.

Good point there. anyone else ? my car is off the road as of today :D but I'm sure it will all turn out just fine and that I will help Mathew out with his car before the trip to pay him back for his 2 days of solid effort he has given me these past 2 days.
