Hmmm maybe... I know when CJ's front end (locked) went he wasn't bouncing at all, just steady load, but paul macs went when bouncing. (open) I think the stock all alloy vit front end isn't up to a locker at all, nor is it up to hard offroad work open or not- they have a number of weak points and unl...

I will add a few comment to this Chris. Loose bearings, evidence the car has not been in 4WD, tight locking hubs etc are minor maintenance items IMHO and while they might be cause for some haggling room with a seller, aren't the end of the world. If you as hte new owner intend taking the car offroad...

Sounds like a good idea to leave it. i say your wasting your time, removing it. you've got lockers, just get used to wheels in the air. Andrew Wale I'm not sure of the context of the quote you pulled up from CJ there, you don't have a front locker, and would say that there will be a useful improvem...
