Re: Tyre Size - Grand Vitara

Hi Steve, thanks for the info on the club meetings.

I believe Ironman are doing longer shocks and springs. As it's their first one for the current GV I’m not entirely sure but as soon as I get it I’ll send you a note.

Re: Tyre Size - Grand Vitara

Hi Steve, Ironman are doing my suspension. Just waiting for the kit to kit to be made as they've never done one for a 2008 GV so ill be the first one for them to get it. Shouldn't be too far off say around 3-4 weeks but I'm defiantly looking forward getting some ground clearance in it that's for sur...

Though the team at Piranah in Bayswater have quoted Me cheaper than what outdoor auto have so will see. Eiter either way will definatly get some under bod protection. Don't mind too much...

Snorkle

Hi there,

Does anyone know who makes a Snorkle for a 2008 Grand Vitara? I have found that Outdoor Auto Suzuki have one but I don't know much about them. Are they reliable or shll I steer clear and stick with the well known's?

Tyre Size - Grand Vitara

Hi all, My last post was asking the question - what is the biggest tyre size that I can get under my Grand Vitara without doing any major mods to it. Well I'm please to say that I now run 30" under it with no problem what's so ever. After a bit or research I found that a set of Hankook RT01 Dyn...

Re: Tyre Size

Hi steve, thanks for the feedback. I to have looked into spending the money that i would on the GV on something that has already had work done to as an option. it seems and GV 2005 and older are too new and not in demand for mods just yet. I think to be safe 30" tyres will be the maximum that I...

Re: Tyre Size

Seems that might be the only option for the tow bar but it is a bit of a pain to remove especially if you only decide to hit a few tracks last minute, like I did last weekend.

Re: Tyre Size

Thanks guy's for the feedback. Probably best until the lift is in then get the tyres fitted and see where we can go. Any ideas on the rear tow bar issue I have? the GV is such a great car and very capable but to have that tow bar sitting so low sort defeats the purpose. I guess the factory pitch the...
