check or unplug the steering column stalk, I have actually rewired the headlight loom on a suzy , and installed dual relays , to handle the extra current for the head lights ,
headlight wiring is confusing due to the negative or ground being switched ! and always has a positive 12 volts on it

last time i was up there I had a burger and a mixed drink , food was good , however ring them and or email them ..

I gather by the photos its snowing up there in them hills !

you need to measure the current not the voltage , voltage is constant however current will vary with a resistive load

typical alkaline battery will have 700ma however lithium can be up to double 1200Ma ..1.2 amps

I work around the corner , can pick it up anytime , except weekends and public holidays

i just used a straight edge on my block and head to check if it was warped
also used a quality head gasket , i thinks it was a permaseal ...still running 2 years later

also recheck the valve clearances after i finished the job

aiming for saturday arvo... rail hail or shine
