Re: Centre handbrake on Sierra
Unfortunately Wayne's sierra was a drover and set up differently to mine. The cable on his enters from the passenger side and mine from the drivers side. I went to Suzi spares (without the car) and they didn't know what the problem is. Does anyone know a good Suzi mechanic in the Lilydale / Ringwood...

Centre handbrake on Sierra
I have installed a new handbrake cable as I thought this may be the cause of the inefficient hand brake. Could someone explain to me how to stop the handbrake cable moving in and out of the backing plate of the centre handbrake drum? I have secured the cable to the chassis with the clips that are th...

Re: 5 speed gearbox
Thanks Steve. Yes I want to swap over my old worn gearbox. I saw a low Km Jimny 5 speed box on Ebay and thought that may be an option. I'm not inclined to do a major swap over as you suggested, as it would be way out of my league (and price). My old one has had new bearings and syncros replaced, but...

5 speed gearbox
Does anyone know if the gearbox behind a Jimny M13a engine fit behind a Sierra G13a engine?

Re: ipad app for this forum
Having just accessed this forum via Safari, I see what you mean. There must be some advantage otherwise phpBB wouldn't have had the need to develop this ad on.
Cheers.

Re: ipad app for this forum
I have had a bit more of a look at the phpBB site and we need the administrator to download an add on. It is available here - https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=2092657
We can then download an app called ForumRunner onto an iPad to access the forum from it.

Re: Low speed syncro hub and sleeves
Steve
Any particular year of the Vitara? Also is there a thread somewhere on the proceedure to fit one?
I have the reco'd sierra box back in and it is working for now, but I will take up the Vitara option when the sierra box finally dies.
Thanks
Chris
