I'm so sorry to have to do this, but I am now unable to run this trip.
Late this morning, my wife Corinne developed chest pain and was taken to hospital by ambulance early afternoon and spent the rest of the day being monitored and having various tests done. The upshot was that a blood enzyme has indicated that there has been an event in her heart which will require further investigation by means of an angiogram. This has been scheduled for Friday and she will remain in hospital till then.
I was looking forward to doing this trip and was originally going to do it in May until I found that track gates were locked on May 1st and not, as I thought, after Queens birthday long weekend.
Sorry Chris, I know you're been champing at the bit for a run.

Bruce.

Everyone understands Bruce... pass on our best wishes to Corinne for a speedy recovery.

Keep a positive outlook , even when its sometimes difficult - it will make a huge difference for Corinne and the family

If there's anything we can do to help out just let us know.

Lloyd.

I am working that day.
But Neerum South is rather fun.

Young Track is one that springs to mind.

Thankyou for the good wishes!
The angiogram was done this afternoon and has come up all clear, so we'll see what the Cardiologist says when he does his rounds. Corinne will be coming home tomorrow.
I will have to resurrect this trip next summer after 30th November when the gates to the tracks are re-opened.
