I may make it an annual event.
There is plenty of different tracks and themes possible for the area.
Good practice, R&D, shakedown trip for anyone considering Simpson Desert, Canning Stock Route type trips.

A mate of mine is just back from his second Simpson trip. He has the luxury of a prado grande. Your trip just seems more suited to a Sierra. Look forward to reading the trip report and seeing the pics. Stay safe.

So far one Sierra, one Vitara and a Hilux are going.

I will bring my trip notes along to the meeting if anyone wishes to peruse.

Larder full and kitchen packed.
Can see trip on my calendar now September is underway.

Looking live 5 confirmed, now (Zook club, CCJC and 4wdriving Mates people)

Leaving time from meeting point will be set as it looms closer.

A reminder to carry spare fuel, and be fuelled up, with food/water etc, ready to go.

Family friendly trip, so bring the family if you like, and keep behavior nice

Could be a softer base camp with day trips, will look out for a good spot

I'm leaving Melbourne on Saturday morning,
Along with one Jeep Club member.
So I will be at Pink Lakes Campground chilling out and waiting.
Others are welcome to join us, or make your own way up when suits you.
Will be leaving Pink Lake camp late Monday morning if anyone is coming up Monday morning.
Exact times will be posted later in week.
