As an afterthought from yesterdays discussion, is anyone able to bring a chain saw (plus spare fuel) - if a tree is down we cant really turn around in some places
We also need a couple of 20 metre winch extensions as there are a few places where the trees are a little far away if we need to winch or tie cars off.
Steve you mentioned someone is bringing a hand winch?

Re: ADVENTURE TOUR 2010
I can bring:
McCulloch ~12" bar chainsaw
1 x 2500kg "fence strainer" style hand winch - used numerous times to right up a blue jimny that likes spending time on its side.....
1 x 20m winch extension - 2 x snatch straps (if you need to use them its a 6 pack per recovery!)
Plus a short length of Synthetic rope offcut.
This stuff except the chain saw stays in my car every trip anyway.
Zook is getting there....wiring will be finished tonight, rear shocks measured up and ordered...need to flex up the front and measure and fab new shock mounts. chassis extension completed...HEAPS better, bit too tall for my liking at the moment but we'll wait until the bar and winch are back on

Re: ADVENTURE TOUR 2010
I will have an ARB Magnum hand winch, 20m of Plasma rope as an extension, snatch block, and strap.
There's normally a second snatch strap hiding somewhere.
I can bring a second extension if it seems like a good idea.
I'll also have the magic ratchet strap hand winch
Lloyd - Is that the park?
Steve.

Re: ADVENTURE TOUR 2010
I have called the Otways Tourist Park (Gellibrand).
They have an area there that will be suitable for approx 8 vehicles with 2 trailers.
It's looking like it will be 3 unpowered sites - which at peak rate should be about $32 each per night, so call that $100 for the night, divided by 10 people equals $10ish per head.
They also have cabin space available - minimum of 2 night stay (since its a long weekend)...
My plan is to lock in the action later today / tomorrow.

It looks like it has a lovely beer garden area.

5. greg (sun and mon only)
6. jonno
7. jay
8. lloyd + mock
9. jonno's mate (sat and sun only)
10. dan
massive list. biggest trip of the year even.
edit: added Dan to the list - sorry... any word from Harley?

Re: ADVENTURE TOUR 2010
thats my understanding too mate... You must have told him some pretty big stories for him to want to join without every coming on a club trip.Jonno wrote:Yep, he is joining the club and wants to come. He said he spoke to Steve and its all ok?
