I was having a nanny nap, as I've been a bit crook lately, when the phone rings.
For whatever reason they have an earlier slot for my surgery.
So now we have a date, but I got to get well before it.
First I see the Doc in the clinic on March 14th
And then I got to see the Sleepy doctor (can't spell Anaesthetist) and preadmission clinic on March 18th
Then if I am fit and well, we get the op done on March 27th.
Beats the heck out of waiting, and is also better weather for the Op
(less likely for me to get ill in warmer weather)

Unfortunately it means I can't chance going camping in the up coming 2 long weekends.
(I often get worn out and sick after adventures)
But I think it will be worth it.
Will plan to go away with the 4wd club another time.
Will be the first Adventure Tour I've missed since the first back in 03.
Oh well.

Interesting video.
Very informative.
It got me into researching the site, and I saw a video of some robotic assisted surgery.
Fascinating stuff.

Date of OP has been postponed for logistical reasons :x
but pre op session is still the same, so new OP date can't be too far off
Now we are waiting for a letter with the new date.
At least it gives me more time to get over my sinus infection :?

I just heard on the news, nurses on "industrial action".
I guess that's probably a truer reason for the postponement.
I thought the answer from the doc was a bit cagey.
Oh well, still waiting.
Definately want well paid, happy nurses looking after me

I'm still waiting :(
I guess our public holidays have added a wait, too.
There was no impending nurses strike, so my apologies to all nurses.
It was a possible strike by allied health workers, xray, physio etal, that never eventuated.

So my wait is still just logistics.

Good thing is I'm nearly over my nose/ear infection, so surgery date would have been postponed anyway.

Down side is the cold weather is early and it feels like Winter.
I was hoping to be done in warmer weather, as I get sick less easily.

All will work out in the end.
