Hey all.
I was thinking we could find a park central to everyone maybe near a cafe and we all put out some appropriately distanced camp chairs and have a bit of a social outing one coming weekend.
Would anyone b interested in something like that?

Re: Car meet
This is what proposing this at the last meeting,
call in and park up, share a fire/food
people come and go (possibly to bunyip sp and back).
I have a ccouple of challenges/flex rocks we can play on in back yard.
Garfield has cafes, bakerys, a pub , a funpark etc if needed
Let me know and i will organise a day

Re: Car meet
lets do both, i was thinking along the lines of a park in caulfield or something more of a central meeting point if we are not having our club meetings at the AMRA hall but if we are allowed back in the bush I'm all for a day on tracks too haven't been down bullocks link for a long time, or ever in my current sierra I think.
I was thinking a park with plenty of parking and a cafe nearby, I've had a skim of google maps and I found Highfield park on the cnr of Hunter and Highfield roads.
this is just an example I don't know Melbourne too well I'm open to suggestions.
This would just be a shoot the breeze type of thing maybe swap a few car parts or something if anyone has that on their to do list

Re: Car meet
Both awesome ideas, I’m in
Re: Car meet
I think it will be difficult to find a central location. We seen to be stretched from Ballarat through to moe. I'm looking n Doreen. Garfield seems a good first meet up. Perhaps then we can move it around.

Re: Car meet
We can definitely go bush again, I've been two weekends in a row, other clubs are out there, 10 people max is the rule for now, changes all the time.
I'm keen for BBQ and meet up.
Garfield sounds good...

Re: Car meet
I have come up with an idea at short notice!
Meet at my place in Garfield on Sunday from 11am to 3pm.
Campfire and BBQ provided from about 1pm till 2pm.
All members welcome to drop in for 4min or 4 hours.
Plenty of room to park and good coffee down the street.
Obviously really good tracks close by, up to people to make there own plans there.
