Transfer Case Bearings

Post by lockfyne »

I have got myself a 1L transfer case with switch.
I would like to freshen it up before i put it in and would like to know the bearing and seal numbers before i pull it apart.
Mostly the the main bearings and flange seals i am after.

Probably best to order a rebuild kit from low range off-road. The main (ball) bearings last extremely well. The needle roller bearings and especially the intermediate shaft wear quickly and need replacement well before the main bearings.
