Power steering box leaking

If i wanted to fix my leaking power steering box what would you suggest?

1. reco it with a kit
2. just get another one
3. other??

(i recall the box was from a vitara)

Depends why it’s leaking. You can replace seals and bearings easily enough. Might not be cheaper than just throwing another box in it though.

Some of the seals are high pressure. They look the same as a normal seal but they are rated at 10bar not 1barif you get a vernier inside the ID of a normal one that's like 20mm you can open it up to about 23mm before the caliper hits the steel skeleton of the seal but in a high pressure one it would only open to about 21mm or so
