Jimny pitman arm is not required, the vitara one works just fine.

The advantages of a jimny arm are it is about 7mm shorter which helps the tie rod and drag link clear if the axle is moved forward and it has some drop to it like a sierra one.

my power steering box is leaking from around the adjustment nut at the top. is that a simple seal to get / replace? or should i just swap the box for another one?

mine was leaking from there too, there was enough thread exposed at the top i just wrapped it in teflon tape and put another nut on it

Mines also leaking from the pitman arm shaft now too, low range offroad sell seal kits, but they're probably as cheap as another steering box.

I believe the steering box is made by Koyo so there might be a generic seal kit available locally for not much.
