It's made even harder to decide because my wife is not really the camping type and so I would be buying one just for myself if I was to get one but being married I wouldn't buy a single swag just incase so without a clear direction I'm sticking with my hiking setup for now.
Maybe I'll get the bug for it again and want to pour more money into it

Anyone looking to get a new swag:
https://www.tentworld.com.au/buy-sale/o ... ingle-swag
$150
This has good room and height, ventilation, foam mattress is comfortable, and I did a few cheap upgrades. First was getting a 15mm foil foam mat from Clark Rubber and cut to fit inside the cotton mattress liner. Next is grab six 6.5mm anchor bolts to take the sleeves out. Wrap in insul tape to make them a snug fit at the end of each pole.

I weathered the canvas over two nights in the back yard and have spent a few nights out in it, latest at Tooranga Falls with my son.
Goes well with:

$145
