Exploring Bunyip State park. (Easy trip)

Post by Cohengoo »

I'm on a roll of posting the trips I have been planning throughout this lockdown and with the current road map in place, I am optimistic to be out on the tracks again soon.

This trip is a nice, casual, easy day drive exploring the beautiful Bunyip state park, which is generally overlooked despite only being within a 1-hour drive of Melbourne CBD!

Date: Sunday the 28th of November
Time: 8:30 - 9 am
Location: Bunyip state park - meeting location will be Garfield hilltop café, 3814/5 Martin Rd, Garfield VIC 3814.
Trip rating: easy, stock cars and new members encouraged.

The plan for this trip is to be a nice social day with a casual drive with the potential to lock hubs in the afternoon.
We will be meeting at the lovely Hilltop cafe in Garfield North which has a big car park (link below) for a Coffee and some great breakfast allowing all new and old members to socialise before heading off for a drive.
From there we will make our way through the back roads out to the bunyip state park highlighting features such as the four brothers rocks and a few other historic landmarks. We will then move on to locking the hubs in and exploring some of the great tracks that the park has to offer.

If this is something you are interested in, post below your name and vehicle you would like to bring along.
