Mt Disappointment

TRIP DESCRIPTION:
I'd like to sneak in one more trip before the Christmas break which then immediately winds into the 4wd Show and Adventure Tour etc.

After some googling and you tubing I found a bit of detail about some harder tracks at the north end of Mt Disappointment - so we'll be heading there for a look-see.

I cut my teeth at Mt Dissa on those very tracks only a few years ago. Sadly that's all there is really. The bump is nice and rutty, there's a deepish water section at the creek that you can't bypass. The ladder always changes and can look difficult. I'm sure there are sneaky tracks suitable for zooks but I've always been with bigger cars. I haven't been up there this year so who knows. It could even be a bit of a scouting around sort of trip.

Some of my earliest wheeling memories are there, too.

Don't stress, we'll get some more trips up and running in Jan / Feb / Apr.

i might do a trip up there in November i got some tracks mapped out in Mt Dissapointment.

For future reference. Watched an old clip of a mate and I up there. There is a dead end road called Hilliers road. It has been many years since I drove it but it was heavily eroded and rutty. Worth checking out one day.
