Hi Everyone,

I am new to the forum. I am Beng and new to 4x4 and drive a 2019 Toyota Prado GXL auto license BAA283 and would like to join you guys on the Snow Trip as a Day Tripper on the 10th August 2019. Really looking forward to it.

That looks like a brand new car from your post above. Is this your first 4wd? Could you give us some insight into your experience levels?

Hi Greg, Thanks for warm welcome to the Club! I am actually quite looking forward to joining in on the activities and also in meeting up with you guys. You are spot on by the way! It is a new Prado and it is my first ever 4x4 vehicle so please don’t hold it against me … Ha Ha! I think I am a fast learner and not afraid to give it a go. I believe I have the necessary recovery gear already and have a factory fitted tow bar (with recovery point) and in a couple of weeks planning to fit a bull bar with winch, snorkel and front recovery points together with a dual battery system. I do have a first aid kit and will also get a car fire extinguisher ready for the trip and will carry a set of snow chains too. I believe the vehicle already comes with all terrain tyres (265/65R17 112S Dunlop AT20 Grandtrek) so I would probably get by with these for now.

Fyi and the rest of the gang … I work night shifts and my night offs are Thursdays so it is going to be rather difficult for me to get to the regular Wednesday evening Club meetings to meet up with you guys and for that I do send my apologies in advance.
