This is such a good idea. Who's next? A few decent builds in the works. Surely a group effort could be beneficial.

They had started before I got there at 12:30pm.
He drove home just after dark, so roughly 8pm.
This included a lunch break, snack breaks, lemonade breaks, and a bbq tea break.

Thanks for the reply Chris, lol that’s a pretty good effort pulling an engine and replacing it in just over 8 hours lol

I like the idea of a working bee on the zooks through the club ... sounds like it’s a pretty tight bunch of guys, can’t wait to meet yous all at the next meeting 😁

Hi guys, what are your tips and tricks for getting the main crank pulley bolt undone?

My solutions are never right way to do anything.
But I used to jam something through the inspection hole to lock flywheel.
Then use a bar on the spanner.

I'm sure there is other dodgy ways, too.

Rattle gun may not fit in there?

I'll do a random internet search

i made up a bar that bolted to the pulley holes and it stopped it turning then used a breaker bar on the main crank
