Tasy

Post by stevend34 »

Hi All,

Time to start pulling together some thoughts for the Tasy trip. Here’s the concept so far;

September 29th departure and initially I was thinking it would be a 6 day trip, focusing mostly on the west coast area.
The majority of this the trip would be considered easy driving however some sections will be challenging with mud, rock and river crossings to tackle, therefore best we rate this as medium.
Idea will be to camp out, therefore we have some logistics with packing to work out! I’m sure those in Sierras will happily accept offers in those in larger cars to carry fuel and luggage!
There is nothing locked in place at this point, so happy to hear suggestions

How does Pizza and planning Friday 15th June 6pm onwards at my place in Belgrave Heights, sound?

If you can’t make it but want to be involved yell out and we will shift the date around to suit as many as possible.

Hi Kids

Looks like there will be half a dozen or more people coming round for the planning and pizza night.

You are more than welcome to bring family and friends.

Address is in members section.

Hi Steve. Here is a useful tool for fuel although it seems to cater for the major players and not so much the small independent stations.

Hi Fellas.
This might have already been noted. But just in case it hasn't.
Friday Sep 28 is a public holiday in Melbourne for the Grand Final Parade.

Hi guys
I was thinking I would not be able to join this trip, but it sounds too good to miss.
Google tells me the Vic school holidays begin Friday the 21st the week before.
Can anyone confirm that?
Does it make a difference for anyone?

I’m going to provide a bit of a write up on what we talked about in planning night.
Before I do however will speak to spirit of tas to see if there is such a thing as group discount.
I’ll have this to you all in a few days.
At this stage we are looking to go over Friday 28th Over night as that seemed to make more sense
