Steering Stops
Fitted a set of 7.50 16s on 4.5 inch rims to my WT Sierra. Lifted the body, hammered the seams and cut off the bumper mounts and the tyres clear everywhere except the rear of the front springs. Searching Outers and auszookers I found several references to extending the steering stops but not much on...

Re: Spools
BUMP Half way through installing a mini spool and have two questions. 1. Inside the carrier are four small spider gears with curved washers and two larger gears (side gears?) with two thrust washers. Do the two large thrust washers get re installed with the spool or do they stay out with the spider/...

Re: Snow Report
Went as far as Matlock and then retraced my path back to Maysville. Was by myself so didn't want to try my luck on the Walhalla or Noojee Rds.

Snow Report
Who needs a permit to drive in the snow? After missing last weeks snow trip, I went for a drive this afternoon to see what i could find. After lunch in Marysville, I headed up past Lake Mountain and onto the road to Matlock. About 20 or 30 kms out of Matlock the patchy snow becomes a solid cover. Pa...

Re: Sierra front end/RUF
The extension is 40mm solid bar so it's quite strong in itself. I agree the connection to the chassis would be a weak point so I would add a brace like dan said. If it can be braced, then how to attach the shackle? The existing hole at the front of the extension is about 80mm from the centre of the ...

Re: :o Low Range Offroad Group Buy: ordering on TUESDAY 27TH
I'm after the 6.5s and a mini spool for the rear so that's about $655 AUD.
Might add an OME steering stabiliser as well. I think they are about $50 cheaper from the US.
Happy to break it into separate consignments to avoid any duty/gst.
