I'm waiting for my E size cylinder to run out and then I'll be returning it for the Bunnings/total tools option. I currently rent from supagas and unless you go through alot it's not really worth the quarterly rental charges. The convenience is I can ring up and they bring a new one to me while I'm ...

Can you re-route the air intake so that rather than it sucking air from the colder part of the engine bay, it could suck air from behind the radiator or place the airbox on the other side where the jack mount is so the intake pipe crosses over the exhaust manifold?

You need to use ALOT of gear oil and install the seal housing very carefully to avoid damage to the O-ring.

It is also best to bench test before re-installing just to be sure.

The shift solenoids are parts 5 and 7 in the diagram. They can be check with a multimeter from the main plugs to the transmission which should be near the firewall.
