Re: Twinsticks

Sam, You're mostly right - there's very little real point, but then there's very little real point in a disconnect too, but it is fun to experiment with, in some situations there are still things to learn from noodling about with lots of silly drive options. The real point of twin sticks is in cases...

Re: Suzuki X-HEAD Concept Vehicle

They must have pulled the engine back a bit like in an old carry van. I still don't think "real"people will fit very well though - look at the cabin room and how large that (most likely, tiny) Japanese model looks next to the cabin. I think the cabin area of an APV would be very large in c...

Re: Is it wrong to love camo?

Pity this camo is designed for the Silver Burch forests found in counties other than Australia. But it is better than no camo at all though. I have some multicam coming in too, which will give Auscam a run for it's money here- it's much more yellow. Even australian troops wear US pattern 3 colour d...

Re: Thermo Fans

I'm not generally a fan of thermo setups that aren't factory engineered. case in point- Greg's green car. This car was running a 14" thermo (same width as the radiator) of high quality, fully shrouded. It was controlled via the stock ECU as per the cappuccino. It didn't like hot weather or long...

Re: Wandin 4WD Show 17th February 2008

one year..... ONE year..... we'll have to put a car on it's side on the stand, just to stir 'em up. "Baaa suzuki's are useless... they just roll over" It's a bigger job than it sounds though, it would have to be drained of all fluids (possibly even brake fluid ) and trailered in as t...

Is it wrong to love camo?

Ok Ok, all of you know how I am *ahem* "fond" of a bit of camo. Anyway, I 've taken quite a shine to the new US digital pattern "ACU" and the "subdued digital" print, so I thought I'd have a little browse on line to see what was around, thinking that the poor range and ...

Re: 82 Sierra VIN

FRONT wheelarch, between the bumpstop bracket and the steering box mounts.

Coil sierras also have the vin repeated on the rear of the chassis, for what it's worth.
