Re: Power steer stuff
mine was leaking from there too, there was enough thread exposed at the top i just wrapped it in teflon tape and put another nut on it  Mines also leaking from the pitman arm shaft now too, low range offroad sell seal kits, but they're probably as cheap as another steering box. Re: Power steer stuff
Jimny pitman arm is not required, the vitara one works just fine.
The advantages of a jimny arm are it is about 7mm shorter which helps the tie rod and drag link clear if the axle is moved forward and it has some drop to it like a sierra one.

Re: Pick-a-part good friday
I need 2 doors and a front bumper for my bf Fairmont. I can carry that in one go. What's the deal with the all you can carry? Can I do it more than once? The usual rules are its $50 per carry. If you can carry everything you want in one go over the line its $50, each additional carry is a further $...

Re: Tailgate LED lights
It might be worth looking up the relevant ADR regarding this. I think putting the lights in the tailgate may place them too far from the outside of the vehicle, especially if you want to avoid the structure inside the tailgate. A very simply rear bar can be made from RHS with the lights recessed in ...

If there's anyone that didn't get a PM with my address let me know. Don't forget to bring your maps and trip ideas! No...

Re: 2018 Tour Planning Night
Yep, happy to host it at my place in Mt Waverley, which is hopefully central enough for most people.
We can organise some pizzas or something of that works.
I figured we could just do the 2nd Wednesday of January in place of when we would normally have a club meeting?
