Re: Ragged Edge - Extreme Indoor 4x4
I stopped by the business address today. It's an empty warehouse. No signwriting, no banners, only one scissor lift inside that I could see. No evidence that anything is happening at all- no cars, "terrain" an office or anything. Good location though - about 100m from the kart hire place i...

Re: Too short brake lines? *warning unsafe content ;o)*
Which is why I put the "unsafe content" in the subject line. Sometimes it's important to remember why some of us rant about brake lines etc.

Re: Ragged Edge - Extreme Indoor 4x4
I guess my speculation is based on the fact there is currently no other information - just a front page. Nobody has seen anything, there's no pricing etcetc. Does anything actually exist except one web page and a couple of banners? Imagine how lame hire go karts would be if you actually raced a kart...

Re: Ragged Edge - Extreme Indoor 4x4
I don't doubt it, I was just being ballpark conservative, and to me the numbers still don't add up at $250k, even less at $500K I can't imagine the liability issues for getting joe public to drive a big car, indoors.... I'm glad I'm not doing the risk assessment for the insurer. I really think the a...

Too short brake lines? *warning unsafe content ;o)*
As you may know, Piggles is a marvel of "do as I say, not as I do" workmanship, mostly in the suspension. It's a real lash together of temporary bits and pieces. Anyway, in the front end I have some long shackles, flat, super stiff springs, 2" bumpstop spacers and commodore rear shock...

Re: Ragged Edge - Extreme Indoor 4x4
Let's say 4 buggies @ $30K each Antunac's car - $60K? A year's lease on a warehouse - $45K? $60K ? I'm seeing $250K in this.... defore anyone pays a wage - That's a lot of debt to service. Like I said, I'm trying not to be negative, but my information is that most go kart businesses only just break ...

Re: Adventre tour '08 Planning
some feedback from greg: Greg's Listing of the best tracks in Gembrook (in no particular order) 1. Andersons (rutted climb) 2. Track off Andersons (bog hole, muddy rutted climb) 3. Cypress (insane in the brain) 4. Sunset (little bit of original track) 5. Cypress Other Climb (even more insane - steep...

Re: Ragged Edge - Extreme Indoor 4x4
$$$$? Sorry for the negativity, but Knowing the history of at least one of the people involved in this enterprise, I would be surprised if it properly gets off the ground - I hope they've done some good financial modelling- bear in mind, ace Karts in sunshine bring in $1500/hr for every hour all the...
