Re: Tasy

Hi Chris.
Great vids compilation. I have 12Gb of beach driving from bonnet cam, incl the quicksand incident about 7 mins in. Will upload tonight and hope Steve's onedrive account has the capacity.
Cheers.

Re: Tasy Planning

Sounds like a good plan. Looks like we'll need these $30 passes https://shop.parks.tas.gov.au/ProductInfo.aspx?id=182 and we get a snazzy book. Can print out some copies of the maps in A4 for the meeting. Cheers.

Re: Pre trip inspection day. 4th of August

Leftovers did go to the gracious host for me breaking a salt shaker, sorry Liz. Thank you Luke for showing me suspension tips and tricks. She drives well after taking the 12mm leaves out with 235's and even better with the Treps at lower psi. Hope Martin got his rear to front diff convert sorted. Ch...

Re: Pre trip inspection day. 4th of August

1.8kg of back strap fillet has been sighted in the in-laws' fridge and will be there from 0900 so it can age. Bought a heap of tools to sort my suspension with guidance and can offer insight with electrical and gadgets. Leftovers go to the host. Cheers.

Re: Tasy Planning

Boo-urns, even at spare wheel height Steve? I see a lot of hillbilliy cruisers and pootrols around with one or two on a kaymar bar. Also no formal legislation regarding this. Is it because the modification puts the jerry cans outside the original body perimeter ie lengthening of vehicle? Maybe petro...

Hi Greg. I'm in for med-hard. Will get the silverware polished up for the next worthy recipient. Has looked good on the mantle and will be :( to see it go. Thanks, Rich.

Re: Tasy Planning

I have put together a rough plan for the rear build inside for this trip. Would like to get the fuel can outside but have to wait until I design the rear bar with swing arm. Wish I had the other half of my chippie tools from NZ now, router especially. Anyone know where I can get some black felt for ...

Re: Pre trip inspection day.

Thanks Luke. I'll see if I can nab some beef back strap from my mother in law in Warrigal on the way down. First in best dressed for bbq.
