Doing a bit more searching and I believe the current Jimny uses ID47 transponder chips, where as the Swift RS415 uses ID46.

Transponder programmer is need to program the chips. ID46 programmers are ~$200, but ID47 are ~$400 as far as I can tell.

Some more questions, this time around keys and radios. * Are the keys for the new Jimny the same as those for the RS415 Swift.
